ICE BATH IN SWEDEN
Have you ever thought about going ice bathing? Val from @thenomadsfamily took a dip in the Åre lake, just a stone’s throw from the Eivy office here in northern Sweden. It’s a freezing experience to say the least, and you can’t really get the feeling unless you have tried it.
If you're the slightest bit curious to try it out, you're probably wondering what to bring. Here are the essentials:
Bathing suit
Because skinny dipping in ice water may be a bit too crazy.
Beanie
To keep your thoughts collected to be able to hold back that instinctive scream.
Gloves
So your hands don’t freeze to the ladder like a scene from a winter comedy.
Socks
Some people say their toes would fall off otherwise. Not sure if that's entirely true tho.
Towels or robes
To wrap up in the moment you step out of the water.
Warming fleeces and base layers
For when it’s time to defrost.
