As the Eivy Crew just couldn’t wait for winter to arrive, we went south for a little #unboredonboard gathering and some photo shooting. With maximal hype we drove on the winding roads into Mayrhofen, finally surrounded by big mountains again. The excitement was real, and the weather forecast didn’t make it hard on us either. Bluebird and sun was set for the whole weekend.

On Saturday morning we met up with a couple of girls, who are onboard with us, by the gondola at the foot of the Hintertuxer Gletscher. Celia (@celia.petrig) and Tini (@tinigruber) seemed just as hyped as us to go up, even though they’d been able to snowboard a lot more than we had during the latest months. 

We reached the Schlageis-Gletscher top and the conditions were just as perfect as the weather forecast already had told us. Eyes popped and feet hopped as we saw the little lake in the valley far down behind us. A better backdrop for a photoshoot was nowhere to be found that day. 

Photos were taken – a lot of them. Between shots, we warmed our cold hands in the cosy Gletscherhütte and fed our stomachs with Kaiserschmarrn at the Tuxer Fernehaus.

On day two Vanessa (@u.z.z.i.b.a.n.g) joined us for some park shots, the stoke was totally there and the good weather too. With a little warmer temperatures this day was ideal for lapping the park. 

The girls killed it on the rainbow rail at the bottom of Hintertux Betterpark. Lena (@lenaannesophie) and Anna (@annamarieasy) also joined for a little sesh. 

At the end of the day, we moved up to the top of the park, hiked some other rails, and handplanted some walls. A crazy amazing weekend in the Austrian Alps to sum it up.
