SPL NEVERLAND 2026

Hey Sohvi & Anna! SPL Neverland is coming up in LAAX on March 14th — for those who haven’t been before, what’s the idea behind Neverland, and how did it all start?
The idea is simple, we wanted to create an event that is welcoming to any rider with a friendly set up. It’s not about the hardest trick it’s about having fun and shred together. Everything started just from that, an idea of really having an event what is not about the biggest tricks.

You’ve chosen to keep the competition aspect out and focus on fun instead. Why was it important for you to create a session where anyone — regardless of level — can show up and feel part of it?
As we know it can be very intimidating to participate in an event where you feel like everyone is watching you. That’s why we wanted to create a space where you could shred with your homies and there is a good vibe to feel comfortable. And most important - try to have as fun as possible.  That’s why we added some fun bigger prizes like mood booster, most progressive, best bail ect. We also have a lot of goodies thanks to our sponsors, yourselfs included, which we are very thankful for so everyone can be a winner.

You’re both deeply rooted in Snowpark Laax and come from different backgrounds in skiing and snowboarding. How does that shape the setup and overall vibe of the event?
A big part of why we started this event is because we have traveled and worked in different places and felt like this kind of event was missing and we wanted to contribute to the ski and snowboard community! We wanted to support the girls but still have it open to everyone. With the combination of building, organizing and hosting the event by women our hope is to give the girls a more comfortable feeling to participate.

We’re excited to support this year’s edition — what are you most looking forward to on March 14th?
Bringing everyone together and for the good viiiiibes! Seeing some people really pushing themselves always makes us super happy so we’re also looking forward for that!
